In 1971, Richard Caring visited Hong Kong and was the first to move clothing manufactures into fashion production. He remastered samples until standards were suitable for mass volume and created International Clothing Designs (ICD). Caring cornered the market in fast fashion, and at its height supplied 70% of the clothing sold by British high street retailers. His wife is former model Jacqui Caring. Today he owns Annabel’s, Soho House and Caprice. Richard Caring generously supports the NSPCC charity.
